We are incredibly proud to share our very first blog post and officially welcome you to SurveilSafe.

This launch marks a milestone that has been years in the making. As we step into the new year, we are doing so as a fully registered Australian charity, with DGR approval and our NSW fundraising licence granted in 2025. Reaching this point has taken persistence, care, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work, and we are thrilled to finally be here and ready to grow.

Why secure contact matters

One of the most important parts of our launch is the introduction of multiple secure ways to contact us.

We know that for many people, reaching out for help is not simple. In some situations, it can be risky, monitored, or emotionally overwhelming. To reduce these barriers, SurveilSafe now offers several contact options designed to improve safety, accessibility, and reach:

  • A secure contact form on our website

  • WhatsApp Business via QR code

  • Telegram via QR code

These options allow people to choose the communication method that feels safest and most practical for them. For some, that means avoiding phone calls. For others, it means using platforms they already rely on daily. Our goal is simple: make it easier for people to ask for help without drawing attention or putting themselves at further risk.

By meeting people where they already are, we hope to reach more individuals and families who might otherwise stay silent.

What we do, for those new here

SurveilSafe exists to help people who are concerned they may be monitored, tracked, or digitally compromised, often in highly sensitive personal situations.

Our work includes:

  • Helping individuals secure compromised accounts and devices

  • Identifying signs of unauthorised tracking or surveillance

  • Providing practical guidance on digital and physical safety

  • Supporting families affected by coercive control, elder abuse, and technology-facilitated harm

  • Preserving evidence and working with police where illegal activity is identified

We focus on calm, methodical, and victim-centred support. When something serious is uncovered, we take care to ensure evidence is handled correctly and responsibly.

Already making a difference

Even before this official launch, we have already helped many individuals and families navigate situations that were confusing, frightening, and often isolating. Every case reinforces why SurveilSafe exists and why this work matters.

Becoming a registered charity with DGR status means we can now grow sustainably, invest in proper equipment, and expand our ability to help more people safely and professionally.

Looking ahead

This blog is the first of many updates we plan to share. We want to be transparent about our journey, practical about safety, and open about the realities of modern surveillance and digital harm.

If you are here because you need help, we are glad you found us.If you are here to support our work, thank you for standing with us.

This is only the beginning, and we are deeply grateful to finally be starting the year exactly where we set out to be.
